You  guys are a true credit to the travel industry. I cannot imagine a better group to work with. Everything you  told us was accurate and every suggestion you made worked out to the betterment of our trip. All 16  members of our group were extremely happy with the way things turned out.    The extra steps you took for us, suggesting and getting the bus and driver Allen, making the  arrangements for the manor homes at the Fairmont, working with the courses to assist our individual  needs, all of which made this a very memorable trip. I must mention that the ladies are still talking about  their guided tour of Glamis Castle as being the highlight of their trip. You know of course, when they are  happy, the guys are very happy! I think there is no doubt we will return, and of course, we will ask for you  guys to represent us once again.    It was easy to see that your staff thought of us at every opportunity. It would have been easy to just let us  wing it each day, but you and John went the extra mile in every way.  This includes getting us reservations  at local restaurants for dinners we scheduled at the last moment. We also thank you for the gifts provided  to each of us. The personal touches you and John did for us by meeting us in Edinburgh upon our arrival and meeting  us every day in St. Andrews made us know that you were there to make our trip as grand as possible. I  think you guys must also have some good connections with Mother Nature as even the weather could not  have been better.  There is little question that you guys are the best travel agency I have ever worked  with.   Please extend my best wishes and thanks to all your office staff for the help and guidance they provided  over the last several months leading up to our trip. Paul Strachan (Strachan Tours) was professional, very friendly, very funny, and  overall a great guy- we are glad he was part of our trip. Dornoch was very nice- the 2Quail Guest House  was above and beyond our expectations, and Karensa and Michael were excellent hosts, not to mention  the food at the Royal Dornoch - Michael is a fantastic Chef.  St. Andrews, The Old Course, and The  Rusacks were everything we were expecting them to be- thank you for that.    The kilt hire in St. Andrews was also a great idea- we have some great pics, and the kilts went over really  well in the Dunvegan.  Meeting you (and John) in St. Andrews, then you again at the Stirling Albion  football match was an excellent touch.  Our trip was great anyway- having the opportunity to have a pint  with the guy that set it all up made it even better.  To sum it up, our driver was excellent, the five golf  courses were incredible, the weather was perfect (it almost didn't rain in our 9 days: not sure how you did  that, but well done!), and the accommodations were fantastic.    The memories of this trip will last a lifetime.  Dave Varga Aurora, Ontario,   Canada  My friends and I have been back from Scotland for a few weeks and have had time to reflect on our  great trip.  I often wonder if Neil gets bored of hearing how great people's experiences were or that they  loved the Old Course etc.  I can only imagine how it must feel every week to be able to plan and be a  part of peoples " Once in A Life Time" adventures.  To Neil and his cast of characters, Words are tough to capture the experience we had travelling through Scotland this October.  It was the  most amazing trip I have ever been on. When everything you plan comes together perfectly and the  weather in Scotland turns sunny in October for 10 straight days…., something amazing was going on.    I look back on every aspect of the trip, our driver was absolutely perfectly matched to our itinerary and  personalities…..he was the glue that held everything together.  His knowledge of the local areas and  Paul singing the odd little ditties full of Scottish words we didn't understand….brilliant.   His giddy  excitement to visit the west coast on our second day was the unexpected highlight of the trip and a true  gem for anyone planning to see Scotland.  The single pass road to Applecross was something I'll never  forget and I've got the pictures of a life time to prove it.  The scenery was breath taking.  The golf was the one part I knew was going to be amazing, and it was!!!!!  The experiences of golfing  with a caddie to the stunning views from the coastal courses (Royal Dornoch is a must), being met  every day in St. Andrews for breakfast and hearing the many golf stories….it was a golfers dream and  will last forever in pictures and my memory…. Teeing up on One at the Old Course can't be put into  words….I've never been so nervous. golfing with Neil on the Old Course was a real treat).  It almost sounds funny to say, but I was expecting the golf to be all that…..  It was all the small extras  and unexpected things that made our trip a perfect 10.  The bed and breakfast in  Dornoch….incredible….. the 5 star chef at the golf club for dinner, unreal food…… meeting Nikki at the  Castle Hotel in Huntly…priceless!!!  The random stops at castles and Scotch stores, the Distillery tours,  golfing with professional footballers and then going to a match….even the Monty Python "bridge of  death"….. every day was a constant adventure of new highlights. (and our drivers historical knowledge  everywhere we went was invaluable) PS: Not using a driver would be a huge mistake.  Trying to capture it all in a testimonial would be impossible, needless to say, we all had our own  highlights.  Neil had arranged all of it and took special care to make sure every stop was better than the  last.  A true Professional who takes pride in planning "Trip's of a Life Time".  Well, ours lived up to that  and more.  I can't thank him enough.  We even had a pint and a scotch with his parents at the Cricket  club in Stirling. (a great day and I even learned a few new words at the football match that I can't write  here…lol )   If you ever want to see the real Scotland, golf coast to coast and experience St. Andrews and all it's  history……  you can't do better and be more connected than dealing with Neil and St. Andrews Golf  Tours. Golf Course Videos Hi Lyn and Neil,   I just want to thank you for the wonderful time we spent in Scotland and Ireland, everything went as  planned or better...  Please tell John that we thank him very much for his kindness.  Paul, our driver/guide was exceptional, we really appreciated the way he treated us and when we  moved on to Ireland John Lambe was every bit as helpful.  We enjoyed every day of the adventure.    Our best regards    Benito and Miriam   Mexico Neil: As could be expected I am crazy busy catching up in the office but I do want to tell you we had a  glorious time. The hotel accommodations were superior and the golf was truly memorable. My next trip I  will take care not to hit so many of the bunkers and I know I'll break 100 every time. We had such good  food that my wife jokingly asked if we got on the right plane or did we land in Italy!!!    For future recommendations for your clients, the Italian restaurant right next door to the Columba Hotel  and Roc Pool right on the corner were world class eateries with very nice wine lists. The GI GI in St.  Andrews and most especially, our meal the last evening in Rocca in the lobby of the Rusacks Hotel was  a perfect way to end a most wonderful week. The owner of the restaurant extended us his personal  hospitality and dazzled us with his chef's masterpiece château briand! John can fill you in on the details  of that story!!    Speaking of John, what a true gentleman! From the moment we met in the airport to our last day at St.  Andrews, he was available for good counsel on the right pubs and the local custom. It was really a  pleasure to spend a few hours with him. He is an outstanding asset to your operation.    One aside. Castle Stuart was certainly my favorite course. The majestic views coupled with the pristine  condition of the course was really a shock to our systems given what I had expected to see in Scotland.  It didn't hurt that the weather continued to cooperate. If that course could make arrangements with a  local hotel a grand trip would be to stay there as a base, play that course 2-3 times and then try some  other local beauties.    Again my thanks for making what we thought would be a once in a lifetime trip so wonderful and  memorable. I am sure we will be in touch in the future for a return engagement. Oh and thanks for the  beautiful pictures from number 1 tee at the Old Course.
