Achnagairn Dining & Entertaining
The house has two kitchens - one for private use and one for
caterers.
The "family" kitchen is fully equipped for a group’s stay at the
house, and has two large solid oak tables as the centrepiece of the
room. Many guests enjoy the informality of the family kitchen to
take light meals or grab a cup of tea. The kitchen has two
dishwashers, a double oven and large hob. It has a modern design,
with oak and stainless steel cabinets.
The catering kitchen contains everything necessary for our panel
of outside caterers to prepare a meal for up to 160 people.

Achnagairn Activities
The Highlands are renowned as one of the most beautiful areas of
the British Isles, and some might argue - even of the world. The
dramatic scenery is stunning for walks and drives, whilst
Inverness itself is a vibrant modern city with first class amenities,
ranging from excellent shops to a modern theatre which boasts
excellent productions.
Caledonian Canal & Loch Ness
Cutting clean through Scotland’s Great Glen from Inverness to Fort
William, the Caledonian Canal covers 60 miles in length and is one
of the greatest waterways of the world.
The most famous section of water that forms part of the
Caledonian Canal is Loch Ness. Iconic and legendary, Loch Ness
boasts waters that are internationally renowned both for its beauty
and for its myths.

Achnagairn House Rooms
Achnagairn has undergone an extensive refurbishment lasting
almost two years. As a result the mansion has been returned to its
former glory. The rooms are spacious and elegant with light
pouring in. Achnagairn has retained all the architectural elements
which made the house stand out from its peers centuries ago - the
original wood panelling, the vast fireplaces, the large windows.
Each room has been individually thoughtout, blending the best of
traditional and contemporary design. Many pieces of furniture
were bought at auction from London’s Savoy hotel, where they
adorned some of the most luxurious accommodation in the capital.
