The McNab Challenge
This is your chance to bag a McNab.
You will stalk and shoot a deer, catch a trout in the Secret Loch and after a gourmet lunch and
a dram of Sloe Gin, you will bag a brace of Grouse or pheasant (depending on the season).
Your setting for this sporting feat, will be the beautiful Lammermuir hills close to Edinburgh,
accompanied by a gamekeeper and fishing guide amidst the most stunning scenery in
Scotland.
The McNab challenge is derived from the famous novel by John Buchan and published in 1925
under the title John Macnab.

Highlands & Islands Whisky Tours
Centuries ago, an illegal whisky distilling trade flourished in the Highlands of
Scotland. A small still could be set up and just as easily dismantled should the excise
man be making his rounds. The peat fires and pure waters used at that time
established the unique flavours now expected of genuine Scotch whisky, so much so
that no other country in the world has been able to emulate it.
More than half of Scotland's whisky distillers are in the Speyside region and most are
open to the public for 'educational' visits. The Glenlivet, Glenfarclas, Glenfiddich and
the Macallan are all close at hand each offering a convivial and informative visitor
experience.
x
Soccer Match
Attending a UK Soccer match is for many “a dream come true” and through our
contacts at various clubs we can obtain tickets for any game you would like to see.
The Oldest Football in the World safely resides in the Smith Museum in Stirling,
Scotland. “The ball” was found in the Queen’s Chambers at Stirling Castle and was
associated with Mary Queen of Scots and therefore is approximately 650 years old.
The Scottish Cup trophy is also the oldest original national trophy in the world. It was
first held in 1873 with the first winners being Queens Park who incidentally are an
amateur team who play at Hampden Park which is the National Stadium.
